ProMaker Sports programs are designed to train players to meet the demands of the modern game. Technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of the game are developed with the overlapping theme, speed of thought, and pace of play being built into all training sessions.
Players must be able to make decisions and solve problems themselves in order to be effective. To help develop the decision making process players need to see the situations in training that they will be confronted with in a match. This type of training will allow players to recognize and see “pictures” thus allowing them to play quickly and effectively.
Skill and the interaction between physical, technical, tactical and mental abilities
Skill is the ability to be in the right place at the right time, while being able to select and correctly employ the required technique demanded by the situation. Indeed, skill contains several important components such as physical fitness, mental approach, technique and decision- making which are all interrelated in a complex pattern.
Top players often demonstrate great skills both on and off the ball which allow them to succeed at the very highest level. For example, the ability to recognize and seize the opportunity by making a quick run into space, control the pass, run hard at goal, and finish, requires great physical technical, tactical & mental ability.
